Fruita Abort – Snow and Transmission

1 hour into a planned 6 day outing. Vail Pass is still closed as I approach the Eisenhower tunnel. The vehicle is acting like there is a transmission problem. I had to bail out and return to town. Next morning the car is in the shop until next Tuesday. So on to Plan B.  But photos here of that’s days consolation ride. Some new areas explored. Greenery is busting out everywhere.

This is Little Dry Creek, I think. Heads down toward the S Platte which it empties into.

This street and these units are months old. The street midwalk points directly to Mt. Evan in the background.
What’s it for? Or is it Art? There are two of them, but ineffective as a shade.
